These terms apply when you engage StartSmart for business-setup and related advisory services in the United Arab Emirates.
Scope of service
Our services are delivered under a written engagement letter that lists the deliverables, fees, and timeline. This website describes the services at a general level; nothing on the site constitutes legal, tax, or investment advice.
Fees and payment
Fees are quoted in AED and are due per the payment schedule set out in the engagement letter. Government fees, bank charges, and third-party disbursements are billed at cost.
Client obligations
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and for meeting documentation deadlines. Processing times depend on third-party authorities; we communicate expected ranges but cannot guarantee approval dates.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any engagement is capped at the fees paid to StartSmart for that engagement. Agreements are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
